Improving the Hypothesis Title

Hypothesis title: Creating literate environments for various activities to encourage people to read more, by targeting all age groups.

As a recap from last blog, my hypothesis is about finding a solution to a better environment to literate environments. Although I know the type of hypothesis I’m aiming to research next year for my final dissertation, there is still room for improvement to a better hypothesis with stronger arguments.
After I identified my hypothesis, one thing that might still be worrying me is finding a location, where it is preferably located centrally and large enough to accommodate most of my intended activities for a literate environment for the public.

At the very beginning my initial idea was to create an outdoor/mobile environment for a library space, which will encourage more people in reading. However, I discarded the idea after some discussions with lecturers, as they argued that it still won’t be effective and would be difficult to build arguments about, which I also agreed. From this idea, I wanted to still implement an outdoor space incorporated with the same area as an extension to it, with the intentions to have an area to attract more people which will also serve as a relaxation area for reading.

So, in my final assay I will be discussing possible activities that could be done in one space supported by valid arguments. At this stage, I’m researching and drafting the first part of the assay, in order to further develop and improve it from time to time later on.
